Jordan was a licensed military contractor Slayer recruited as a peacekeeper for the supernatural governmental division.[1] Under the Supernatural Crisis Act, she was a federal agent authorized to arrest and maintain individuals in the Safe Zone.[2]
Biography
Jordan has briefly met Buffy while training with Kennedy for Deepscan,[1] and considered her the best Slayer.[2] However, Buffy's relationship with the vampire Spike and initial refusal to be recruited made them enemies.[1][2] In the Safe Zone, Jordan insisted on the recruitment until Buffy accepted the deal of being a trustee.[3]
After Buffy had absorbed all Slayer powers to defeat Joanna Wise, Jordan and her fellow Slayer peacekeepers saw Faith in her full power again. They sought Buffy in her apartment to ask for their powers back, but accepted a refusal in punishment for their previous antagonism. Buffy gave away all the taken power, and the group promised to use their powers for good.[4]
Behind the scenes
- Christos Gage described her first appearance as "a tough looking Slayer, but less 'punk' than Simone Doffler; more like a female MMA fighter – muscular and solidly built." Rebekah Isaacs then modeled her after MMA fighter Ronda Rousey.[5]
